Welcome to ShelfieBooks. By downloading or using the ShelfieBooks app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
ShelfieBooks is a mobile application that helps you search for books, save them to a personal library, and track your reading. The app is free to use.
To use ShelfieBooks, you must create an account using your email address, Google account, or Apple ID. You are responsible for:

The ShelfieBooks app, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by ShelfieBooks. Book cover images and metadata are sourced from the Google Books API and remain the property of their respective owners.
ShelfieBooks is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times, error-free, or that book information will always be accurate or complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShelfieBooks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
You may delete your account at any time directly within the app, via Settings → Delete Account. When you delete your account, your personal data and library are permanently removed.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of ShelfieBooks after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be resolved under New Zealand jurisdiction.
